YBE started between three brothers raised in the South Side Chicago Projects. All of them looking to create an opportunity that would elevate their mind and their status away from their surrounding environment.
From consistent use of affirming words like "You can't cheat the grind" & "Grind time, til its shine time", soon came the acronym YBE - Young Black Entrepreneur.
This acronym not only speaks to the brands idea of black ownership, but it is proof you can push a positive message and look great while doing so!
YBE Apparel speaks to the journey of those trying to turn nothing into something.

Our non-profit YBE Foundation was created to assist and build more entrepreneurs within surrounding and distant communities.
We have donated needed supplies & merch to underprivileged communities. February 2023, we blessed two young entrepreneurs with upwards of $2,500 to assist them with their startups along with guidance on how to build their brands. We are on a mission to change lives.
